Arjun Rampal was born on November 26, 1972 in a very high-class Punjabi family of New Delhi.
He did his schooling from Kodaikanal International school. While Arjun was doing his college, Married to former model Mehr Jessia, Cousin of Kim Sharma and has two daughters Mahikaa, born on January 17, 2002 and Myra, born June 2005.
Before coming to Bollywood, Arjun Rampal was a famous Model. He was discovered in a discotheque of Delhi by the famous designer Rohit Bal.
Arjun Rampal’s first film was Pyar Ishq Aur Mohabbat (2001), directed by Rajiv Rai. The film flopped badly, but Arjun’s screen presence was noticed and he got many offers. He then did Vashu Bhagnani’s Deewanapan (2001) and Ashok Mehta’s Moksha (2001), which too failed to set the box-office on fire. However, Arjun Rampal did display a spark of brilliance in his performances this time.
Arjun Rampal’s first hit was Aankhen (2002). Though the film also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in more important roles, Arjun’s role was crucial never-the-less. Same year, He did Kundan Shah’s Dil Hai Tumhara (2002).
